This week's item is a fireplace mantel beam.
The carving is 8 inches high and at the deepest point is approx. 2 inches into the carving. I can custom make a mantle from your photos of your family farm or business. I can also just make a custom mantle featuring oakleaves or some other repeating theme. Custom work is billed at $3.50 a square inch of carving area, plus the cost of the lumber. In other words the entire piece does not need carved, you pay only for the carved area. Ex. A Four foot by eight-inch mantle with only the center two foot carved, you would only pay the $3.50 a square in for the two foot area. 24X8=192 sq.in. = $672 plus material (beam/wood). Local delivery charges apply or you can pick up.
